DISTRIBUTION OF UNIFORMS BY ISLAMABAD SERENA HOTEL

Islamabad Serena Hotel, distributed 412 school uniforms amongst the male and female students of Mashal Public School. The school looks after the children from below poverty area who can not affor normal clothing also. This act of ISH has been appreciated by the school management and their other well wishers.

SOS VILLAGE CHILDRENS' VISIT TO ISLAMABAD SERENA HOTEL

Islamabad Serena Hotel had hosted an orientation tour of the hotel for the children of SOS Village, Rawalpindi. The purpose was to give them a tour of a hotel to educate them how a hotel operates and also a guideline and career workshop session.

SPORTS ACTIVITY FOR MASHAL SCHOOL

Australian High Commission, Pakistan Cricket Association and Islamabad Serena Hotel organized a cricket match . The purpose was to provide the less fortunate and the handicapped children an opportunity of a sports / physical activity. ISH had arranged logistics for Mashal School and also provided lunch boxes for the participants. There were 60 participants from Mashal School, 30 from Pakistan Cricket Association for the Handicapped, 10 from Australian High Commission.

QUETTA SERENA HOTEL - SUPPLY CHAIN CONTRACT WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY

Quetta Serena Hotel under its SEED umbrella, has signed a supply chain contract with a Civil Society Organization ‘Balochi Emporium’, local NGO managing women vocational stitching Institute. The initial contract is for 160 tea cozy and 100 newspaper bags based on the quality, additional orders shall be passed on to them. The community will benefit from this alliance, by getting recognition in market as well as it will provide sustainable earnings for poverty alleviation.

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR TANZEEM-UL-LISAN

Faisalabad Serena Hotel under its SEED umbrella conducted an IT training program comprising of 16 sessions which was attended by 16 students. The training was based on Web Development. The sessions were conducted at Tanzeem Ul Lisan school premises, whereas the certificate distribution ceremony was held at FSH.

KOHISAR SCHOOL BY SWAT SERENA HOTEL

Swat Serena Hotel adopted a ‘Kohisar School- an Institution for Disabled Children’ under SEED programme in early 2012. In first phase SSH hired a disabled student as trainee who successfully completed training at SSH. Information Technology Centre of school was upgraded by SSH and computer orientation classes were held at school by SSH management. In second phase SSH initiated a physical health training programme for disabled and special children and for third phase under physical training programme SSH has started cricket coaching classes for the children. Initially 20students are shortlisted out of which 15 will be selected for professional training and participation at national level.
