COFFEE TABLE BOOKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH IUCN

Serena Hotels and IUCN have collaborated for inculcating better understanding on environmental and conservation issues and best practices amongst the general public by means of publishing a coffee table book, available at all Serena Hotels in Pakistan. Both partners would exploit their specific expertise to achieve mutual goals. In doing so, IUCN will build capacity and share knowledge on the decided content i.e. Birds of Pakistan in and around Serena Hotels and  National Parks of Pakistan where Serena Hotels are located which will provide a platform for awareness and advocacy on the conservation of natural habitat.  Both will collectively empower the guests of Serena Hotels towards sustainable and environment friendly practices along with a greater knowledge of the natural treasures of Pakistan.

Considering IUCN’s niche and Serena Hotels’ interest in green media and environmental reform, IUCN and Serena Hotels can explore devising a mutual agreement for collaborative work, to set the stage for a meaningful initiative which will induce the media/corporate sector of Pakistan to incorporate green thinking as an essential part of their corporate policy and practice, as well as promote ecologically sensitive behavior amongst its target audience.
